Yomi Cross Up GuideA quick reference on Yomi cross ups or what a good attack would be if your opponent is knocked down and you don’t know if they’re holding more odd or even blocks. This is only meant to be a general feel for what they may use and still dependent on: what your opponent draws, what you have already seen, opponent’s playstyle, etc.

Why cross up your opponent in yomi?  A successful cross up in yomi can be thought of as a 1 cp throw that counts for powering up after a combo.

Remember, faces get blocked regardless of odd/even.

Bag of Tricks(7) Setsuki rarely blocks as is but having a 7 is very useful for her.

Stone Wall(5)

Fast 2/3 and make them useful as throws, Rook’s 3/5 abilities are off of blocks.

10’s are important for Lum’s late game.

Burst of speed on 10 makes it very valuable, 7 is a very good throw, 5/6 will be used mostly in combos.

7 is Args fastest throw/Protective Ward.
Bubble Shield is the best block in the game.

Creator and Destroyer(4) Flavorwise, very good for him. Gamewise, being odd hurts. Be wary of crashbombs to make up for his lack of odd blocks.

Bonecracker/Into Oblivion are very good and will see use often.

Bare your Soul(10)

Her 9, Do as Told, is very situational.  Bare your Soul is like using Maphack in Starcraft and will be played often.
